Comfort and care should always go hand in hand when thinking about the future. As times continue to rapidly change, so does the desire and need for the safety of our loved ones. Gone are the days where the only options to receive the benefits of long term care were to be in a hospital, nursing home, or care facility. At Gulfside, we know that nothing compares to the real comfort of home.
Receiving care from the comfort of home compared to a long term facility also allows your loved one to gain back their independence while they are recovering, plus provides several benefits for the caregiver.
By offering the best possible care at the place that matters most, the team at Gulfside Home Health hopes to help ease the stress and leave both patients and caregivers feeling uplifted, independent, and understood.

Home Health FAQ Section:
Who can receive services? Skilled home health services are designed for anyone recovering from a serious injury, a surgery or serious illness, or those needing medication or pain management. Our hands-on approach allows you to strengthen and recover so that you can keep moving and live life fully.
Who provides care for the patients? The skilled home health services are provided by expert rehab specialists, including physical therapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists. Patients can also receive visits from specially trained nurses and certified nursing assistants, as required by the individual’s custom plan of care.
How are services received? Your Primary Care Physician can easily refer you to Gulfside Home Health for an evaluation. Our team can meet with you at home, or even at the hospital to prepare you to go home and get ready for services after hospitalization due to a surgery, accident or illness.
What’s the difference between home care and home health? Skilled home health is built around services that are ordered by a physician. The primary goal of skilled home health is to help people recover and stay as independent as possible. Home care is not nursing-focused, and is assistance with daily chores or activities, such as house cleaning, companionship, and meal preparation.
